This project took the majority of the fall semester to make, but it was definitely worth it. I found this detached car light on the side of the road and brought it in to my sculpture class and decided to make a lamp out of it. I had a lot of fun smashing glass and applying it to the exterior. Grouting it wasn’t nearly as much fun – it’s the messiest substance. My professor then helped me wire it with a lamp kit I bought and now it’s a fully functioning lamp!
